Helldivers 2 was fake from the start - all the gameplay videos and livestreams and other such videos of the game? Fake. There was never a game to begin with - at least not in a form you can play. It was all a ruse.

The developers of Helldivers 2 exclusively sank years of their lives into working on and marketing a fake product so they could point at laugh when you couldn't get on due to server congestion. They did this to spite you. Specifically you, OP.

Now that they've attained their singular goal (annoying you), they will not spend a single second on fixing things to actually make money moving forward, it's way too fun for them to spend an ungodly amount of money on creating the game just to annoy you with server issues. You got 'em dude! Game's dead af! Hopefully you won't fall for this again moving forward.

Take a look at the peak count of their previous game, and another beloved co-op game about bugs. I think any reasonable person can see this games popularity and demand is unexpected.

It's the opposite of a scam. It's an amazing game that is only broken because too many people want it.

the difference about drg and helldivers 2 Is that drg doesn't have a matchmaking, you Simply host the match and there Is a server browser and It was also designed tò be played alone...
helldivers 2 dev they dont design the game tò be played alone and in fact Is hard as hell

So oyu are telling me they didnt have buck up play for everything? show they were not ready. There no excuses for this. We cant play the game we paid for. They said and update will come today but they dont know if it will fix it. They also said that next WEEKS they will bring updates but nothing is sure. So yeah they still sell a product and it needs to work.

people are complaining they bought a game that is unplayable and doesn't have all the features listed....thus a scam.
Sure, it will be fixed at some point but for 4 days at least there is no matchmaking and even before this, the dissconetcs and fps loss was pretty hard to tolerate.
A game having success shouldn't be a reason for it to be unplayable:)
