Black screen

I get black screen every time I start the game, nothing seems to fix the issue, any suggestions?

Verifying the files right now.
Some say you gotta wait it out and others says the Automatons are assaulting the game servers

Server's being overloaded. U just gotta wait for it. Or just do something else until the servers are freed up.

Just verified then I got in

was in queue then the servers are at capacity message disappeared so i closed the application and got the black screen next time i logged in. cleared cache and got it to work so sitting in queue again now. THE 2 PEOPLE I PLAY WITH ON PS5 BOTH GOT IN UNDER 5 MIN WAIT

Same thing, vilified my files, yelled at them, did not work.

It takes a while, but eventually the game loads for me. Try waiting 60-90 seconds on the black screen. Hope this helps.

From what I've read online, it's a server issue. Someone said the game has to connect to server before it initializes the startup.

So it kinda worls after waiting for like 5 minutes on black screen, but now i Have main screen with no loading indicator, I'ts just saying defrosting helldiver

Black screen is likely an issue with the intro cinematic, or a connection issue prior to the cinematic. Waiting will eventually play the cinematic, but the times are not consistent.

The black screen is caused by the servers being overloaded. Just speculation ... but your Steam account is linked to your PS account so there's probably a handshake that is not happening or timing out.
