To be fair, it was a federal holiday and most all schools were out today.
and you're concerns pretty much align with mine, it's just that a chunk of people I see don't even mention GameGuard and is just angry that the servers are down. and if that's their only gripe than as I've said they can wait.
now the other issues are a whole other can of worms. For example as someone here explained to me, DRG has a similar cosmetic store to HD2, but the catch is that DRG doesn't register or "scan" your acquisition, so people can pretty easily cheat their way to cosmetics, but the devs were like "they're robbing themselves of hard earned items not us"
HD2 is keeping a type of Acuisition "Backlog" If I read their post right. Basically processing so much so fast that it's aiding is crashing the servers most likely.
Please correct me if I'm wrong on that part.
And last thing, Don't call people a "Simp" and instead please just ask for an explaination on why they say what they say, and if it's lame as hell (like my emotionally charged replies) then call their ass a simp. Also my fault for not wording myself properly.
They had the stats, They knew how many were going to play. (So many people defending them saying "They didn't know and its not their fault"
It would make sense that they didn't know because it's a new indie company so they don't really know what they're doing. 12 days and its still bad, They couldn't even land a quick update today about the matchmaking so they just said they do it tomorrow.
All the updates we got were server "Fixes"
I really hope the developers will finally fully fix this game for everyone to play, If not, They seriously need to sell the right to this game. I'm worried about the game's future.
There is no reason why they would think they would even hit 100k and everything I have read says they prepared for 250k but they never expected the 800k+ that are currently trying to play.
The issue with this reasoning is that the game release only had 100k players, check Steam DB, its been steadily increasing so no they did not know how many players they would have as its more than quadrupled just on steam since launch.
It's sad because I do know their pain releasing a game that they can't do anything to fix it for everyone so every announcement are just excuses and not real fixes.
They released a compensation event to give up 50% exp while their servers are still bad and not everyone can play and I guess that's over.
They don't care for our time playing this game.
The only thing I was so skeptical about was their choice on an anti cheat engine....
