Do people here not understand just how unexpected this player count is?
Anybody? anyone at all? Because comparing to the first game and calculations of initial launch, they were most likely expecting between 50-100k tops, not nearly a HALF MILLION people.

"they should've been more prepared"
"We paid for it, we should be able to play it NOW"

Quit your crying and actually use your smoothy-silky brain on how unexpected this player count is. Holy Mack, I cannot fathom how people don't see the 4000% player spike compared to HD1, and an estimated 515% spike of player count since LAUNCH.

Quit whining, Stop trying to boycott, stop being idiots and just let these bois cook, you meandering babies.

Edit 1: Oh crap I didn't know I could do this. The anger around here is valid, but the ones only focusing on arrowhead and nothing else aren't making anything better. Sony and GameGuard also have accountability. GameGuard for being a crap anti-cheat, and Sony for seemingly not even trying to help out Arrowhead and is leaving them on their own.
I even saw one post where someone want to file a class-action against Arrowhead which is just asinine and immature behavior.

That's basically asking for Arrowhead to be shut down before they can even fix this game. And during this edit, the game updated once again, and I'm going to give this game another shot so I can engage in Managed Democracy.

I love the game but cmon bro, be real, its not even a weekend and the servers were clogged the whole day. Thats kinda inexcusable.

To be fair, it was a federal holiday and most all schools were out today.

Nice job still not having anything better to say than "Simp"

This is just sad right now.

I understand that HD2 has a lot of issues that need fixing, and the servers need adjusting and most likely a lot of background processes that need fixed/removed.

Yet you sit here calling people "simp" instead of actually making an argument as to what EXACTLY you hate. HD2 as a whole? Arrowhead? GameGuard? Their Servers? all of the above, or just a combination of the four?

I'm defending their right to have time to fix this issue, while you're still here whining and moaning "I can't play immediately, therefore garbage game" as if you've never experienced server queues before for a start.

Dude, reread your original post. You insult and minimize legitimate concerns with this game and talk down to the people who are airing those complaints. That's where I called you out. Your original post smacks of self entitled elitism and is worded for a fight.

The game still has mostly positive reviews that did drop from 80% to 70%, but as days pass and the server capacity issues aren't fixed that is to be expected because it is impacting quality of play and user experience. I understand there's not a magic wand solution, but you also have to understand that enthusiasm quickly turns to frustration and disappointment when stuff like that happens, and people are entitled to voice that. - and it looks like they're using these discussion boards more than the review panel to do so.
Insulting them for voicing those concerns in a way you dislike doesn't change anything and just makes you look arrogant.

My concerns with the game are well stated by others here covering Gameguard and the broken matchmaking., with the icing on the cake being the server capacity issue, which is frustrating and just amplifies the other issues in the negative reviews because it denies users the chance to experience the pros of the game.

Change the tone of your original post, and I'll change the tone of my responses to you. Throwing around insults doesn't help your arguments.
My original post is emotionally charged, yes, but I am going to be honest no matter how dickish I come off as, although i definitely could have phrased it more tactfully.

and you're concerns pretty much align with mine, it's just that a chunk of people I see don't even mention GameGuard and is just angry that the servers are down. and if that's their only gripe than as I've said they can wait.

now the other issues are a whole other can of worms. For example as someone here explained to me, DRG has a similar cosmetic store to HD2, but the catch is that DRG doesn't register or "scan" your acquisition, so people can pretty easily cheat their way to cosmetics, but the devs were like "they're robbing themselves of hard earned items not us"

HD2 is keeping a type of Acuisition "Backlog" If I read their post right. Basically processing so much so fast that it's aiding is crashing the servers most likely.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on that part.

And last thing, Don't call people a "Simp" and instead please just ask for an explaination on why they say what they say, and if it's lame as hell (like my emotionally charged replies) then call their ass a simp. Also my fault for not wording myself properly.
What a dumpster fire.
If you bought from Amazon, they will give you a refund for the game and let you keep it because of the, you know, not being able to play the game. Even Amazon reps understand you deserve a refund lmao

palworld had more player and didnt have problem with capacity even tho it is a smaller team hummm
That is absolutely untrue. The servers were damn near unplayable for weeks.
If you have problem when play palworld it mean time to build an other pc
People can have criticism towards something that's broken or doesn't work correctly.
They had the stats, They knew how many were going to play. (So many people defending them saying "They didn't know and its not their fault"
It would make sense that they didn't know because it's a new indie company so they don't really know what they're doing. 12 days and its still bad, They couldn't even land a quick update today about the matchmaking so they just said they do it tomorrow.
All the updates we got were server "Fixes"
I really hope the developers will finally fully fix this game for everyone to play, If not, They seriously need to sell the right to this game. I'm worried about the game's future.

fully agreed, pc issue unrelated to the great quality and superb release of a small indie company.

they could very well be doing that. they are not competent enough to launch a game would be more ideal for them to sell to another company, it already has major plans for MTX can't get any worse

If i make a game like this i'll know how popular my game will be and prepare bigger server than 100k cap ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
How would you be prepared? their announcement trailer had 500k views most other trailers are in the 50-300k at most, it was not until launch reviews that they even hit a million. Compared with Destiny 2 which has 6M and 14M on its first two trailers yet its max is only 360k players on Steam.

There is no reason why they would think they would even hit 100k and everything I have read says they prepared for 250k but they never expected the 800k+ that are currently trying to play.

The issue with this reasoning is that the game release only had 100k players, check Steam DB, its been steadily increasing so no they did not know how many players they would have as its more than quadrupled just on steam since launch.

easily playable in the first days never had a issue. you running a low end PC?
So Palword can run smooth as silk for a few days and then stutter but HD2 has the exact same issue and now you seethe? The other complaints are entirely valid, but the en masse of people joining is still something that I believe is a bit unexpected. at least not of this scale, maybe half the size at around 200-250K, but then again my original prediction of player count was between 100k-200k, and I was way off the mark.

It's sad because I do know their pain releasing a game that they can't do anything to fix it for everyone so every announcement are just excuses and not real fixes.
They released a compensation event to give up 50% exp while their servers are still bad and not everyone can play and I guess that's over.
They don't care for our time playing this game.

The only thing I was so skeptical about was their choice on an anti cheat engine....

would be wiser for them to reset everyones level have a fresh start with the DXP event again and begin from scratch but this has dragged on far beyond that with mishaps on discord
