Kicked back to ship mid-session without message?

I just got booted back to my ship during a mission without any message.
I'm 100% sure my 2 teammates didn't kick me because they were both actively fighting bugs (as was i).
I just got a random black screen with music continuing, then 5 seconds later i am standing in the bridge of my own ship without ANY message like "lost connection" or "kicked from session", nothing at all?

Is this a new issue?

It's not a new issue, sometimes you just lose connection and that happens

You lost connection. Even when you do not get the error(most likely because of server load) when you end up back on your ship your connection was lost.

Might not have been the same issue but it happened to me last night and when I asked the guy whose game I had been in what happened he said his game had crashed. While it probably should have a message telling you something about what happened they forgot to put one in.
