Please consider the following:
- considering that we are gamers with 'Xeons',
- we definitely invest good in our gaming endeavors.
You can as well be sure that all of us, are at the level of gamer,
having their steam-store - library - at least with the price of a single xeon.
Shortly, we are good investors into,
using steam services, definitely above average, gaming level.
Please put the necessary efforts (Steam representatives),
into solving this ridiculous formality, and providing the
playable consent of the game, without the ridiculous AVX message.
I would like to underline - 'esepecially for XEON users'.
I already made a few game developers write patches
- just because their software was buggy - while running on the top level hardware.
I can provide you with the bug rerports, in case neccessary.
Thank you in advance.
We are looking forward,
to see the issue solved as soon as possible.
thank you in advance
as a continuation, I would like to add,
the following:
A small hint, by Intel:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/684897/813591/intel-software-development-emulator.html
This is a software emulator for avx
Specifically the emulator - is for linux.
The specific example - with this intel software
development emulator, only shows
and heavily Underlines,
-> that we do not need avx - to specifically run certain code
Or in short, statement of any sort as:
"currently/whatsoever, avx workarounds,
are not possible, or ... "
anything of such sort,
to be stated, would be inappropriate and definitely - not true.
Furthermore,
we all know that the xeons have enough compute power,
even to emulate such code-requiring instructions, in case necessary.
I would like to point out that,
for a second time, I am not able to play a game,
directory after buying it from Steam,
regardless of the fact - that steam has my hardware in full list
and has not provided me any hints, recommendations,
or anything related - in accordance to information,
about my hardware being - gaming incapable - related to avx.
I am very happy with
the purchase of the game,
and I would like this to remain so,
and, as pointed, I would like very much to play it.
Considering stated information and
and all included data from current and previous post,
I am looking forward,
to seeing the issue with avx,
resolved as soon as possible,
Thank you,
best regards
