If the biggest issue that someone can think of is the right to publicly display to strangers who they'd rather take to the bone-zone;

If the biggest issue someone can think of is the right to publicly be themselves when less than half a century ago gay people were being lynched for existing, then said person's life has enough substance for me. :)

Not carrying around a giant flag that says "I prefer male/female/etc." is not denying someone's right to be who they are.
It's called "having some decency/class".
It's visually going out and proclaiming to other people what your bedroom preferences are.
