Unfortunately the low muzzle velocity, and more importantly that terrible reserve ammo you mentioned, holds it back.
The thing can three tap a Devastator on non-weak spot hits.
It's not a gun you should rapid fire for sure, but that kick is definitely noticeable. If you have the recoil armor, crouching helps a ton.
Every "upgrade", is a downgrade. If the weapon is good, it has terrible ammo reserves, if it has good ammo reserves it hits like a pillow. WHY?! What is the point of this?
Breaker and starter rifle are still best in 90% of situations. Mind blowing.
Oh I didn't say it's not a good weapon, but I'd just like maybe one more full reload haha. Just feels bitter sweet to have that power, but only being able to use it a fraction of the time.
