Fun times at the phoenix zoo. They went from like 7k max at any time in helldivers 1 to well over a quarter of a million people trying to log in at once to helldivers 2. They expected a small creek, maybe even a river, and instead they got Noahs flood. People hunger for good co-op games to play with the bros.
That's literally not how it works. There is a floor to the amount of time it takes to get more server capacity up and running for a game like this, and that involves cutting every corner imaginable which will just make the problem worse later on. No amount of screaming and crying will make the issues get fixed faster. The devs are actively working on it, it just doesn't happen instantly, no matter what tech-illiterate dweebs that think a magic button just isn't being pressed out of spite say.
