Is steam giving refunds if your play time is over 2hrs?
I haven't played all weekend. When I do get on the server can't find a match.

Got Last Epoch coming Wednesday and Final Fantasy the week after.

try to get a refund, if you're denied, then appeal and give your reasonings.

This, if you don't get one, and get denied. Especially if it was waiting in the "queue" during that time.

Steam has been pretty fair when it comes to refunding unplayable games in the past. Send in a refund request with the comment "can't play the game because the servers are constantly at capacity".

Only in rare cases.

Little known fact: You are likely to get ONE no-questions-asked refund on your Steam account. Ever.

Please try, tell them you couldn't kill one bug.

If you haven't played at all because of the servers and are over 2 hours then give it a try.

They don't have to say they are. Valve looks at refunds past 2 hours, it's just not automated.

I find that if you have a habit of refunding games a lot on steam, they're less willing to give you a refund. But if you don't abuse the system, even if you've exceeded the 2-hour playtime, they'll be willing to hear you out and potentially refund you.

In my case, I haven't had issues having games refunded by steam, but I don't refund games often either.

I think they do a quick check of your total bought games vs how often you refund. I've gotten around 5 refunds in total, but in contrast I've bought 500+ games.

You are liable to sue depending what country you live in if you where sold a defective or not working Product.
Happy Larry Feb 18, 2024 @ 2:17pm
You should , the game is not playable = its a product you bought which is not working at all.
Player Zer01 Feb 18, 2024 @ 2:20pm
you can but you may have to go through an appeal esp if you have unlocked steam acheivos.

Steam is usually pretty decent with it, they refunded me on a game i had 12 hours in.
it just depends on the situation.
