Game Guard error code 170

[Ram Ranch Cowboy]

Tried to reinstall the game due to constant black screen. Now I cant even start it. Getting Game guard issues code 170. Any fixes?

I figured out how to fix it. Go into the folder for hell divers 2 and then the bin fine and delete the anti cheat. Once you open up the game again it will reinstall it.

could ya explain a bit better bc i found the game guard file and it wont let me delete it

Locate and open the Helldivers 2 install folder on your PC.
Open the bin folder in the Helldivers 2 folder and delete the existing folder named GameGuard in the bin folder.
Launch the game using the executable, which will create a new version of the GameGuard folder.
Copy the path to this newly created GameGuard folder.
Finally, open the anti-virus program and dig up its settings. You should be able to whitelist additional apps here, and when you find the option, whitelist the GameGuard folder using the path you copied.

If it wont let you delete it then restart computer and dont start the game. Go stright to the folder and delete then run it from the exe file
