Full servers again?

I also managed to play a few hours ago though mostly solo, for some reason the matchmaking is awful, couldn't even join quickplay

Latest patch fudged up matchmaking and the weekend influx of players, I was playing with my bro and managed to get one random off discussion to join.

They did increase the cap to 450k, but yeah 1000k seems like a good goal. Haven't been able to play this weekend, but i did play 50 hours before it got too popular.

Is there an indicator or server status somewhere, or information about when "peak hours" are so I can attempt to play then instead? Just sitting in a queue with no information about how plausible it is to get in is not ideal


Edit: they say they increased capacity to 450k, there are only 350k players online right now, so what gives? why are the servers full then? :<

I couldn't play since Saturday night, I spent all this time watching the fake queue screen and even when I could go past the queue I go to the planets and find nothing.
