Have a cup of LiberTEA while you wait.
Love these braindead takes, good job defending a billion dollar publisher that can't pay for enough servers.
Yeah the nerve of me actually expecting to play the game after i pay for it! Definely my fault....
That't cap. I bought this game on launch day and have 6.6 hours played. Yet not a single second is past the splash/login screen. I've tried at all hours of every day and with different player count. 100k, 150k, 300k. Same result. It does not work. They are trying to get to the bottom of the issue but don't seem to be getting anywhere 10 days later!!!!!
They could at least just limit it to single player while the servers are full but, no, we all have to wait regardless :(
Can't do that if you can never login. The problem is you can be online trying to get in and it won't get anywhere, whilst a friend comes online and jumps straight in. Every single time, without a problem.
Since yesterday Lionbridge QA testers have now been called in and are on the Discord gathering intel trying to get to the bottom of it.
I remember when I had to sit couple hours in queue each evening when MMORPG released major expansion, if I didn't log in early enough. Try it too late, and you might as well give up and try again next day.
Just the nature of online services, sadly. Can only have so many slots for players, and rapid expansion isn't that easy nor cheap either, so I imagine Sony doesn't want to pump that money on servers that'd last 2 weeks before population boom settles down.
LOL so true.
And MAYBE you will get rewards too!
