Sorry, maybe that's not the right word to use, "set up a system" maybe more appropriate?
But yeah most game with mtx system kinda just forced you to planed your purchase properly if you want to get the most bang for your bucks.
I'm not complaining. This is in the best interrest for the devs. I would totally buy the cosmetics part of the super citizen upgrade for 10 bucks, for example, but im not interrested in the warbond, or even the credits for that matter, so for that reason im not giving them the money i'd be willing to additionally spend to support them. For those who already purchased the warbond with ingame farmed (or purchased) super credits it's an even worse deal, so the devs are literally losing out on money they could make, which would support the development. Literally everybody is losing out.
Keep in mind that the 20 bucks bundle is literally 10 bucks worth of credits (in form of the warbond) and everything else, which is thus also valued at about 10 bucks. However, given the current system, the devs are not making as much money as they could have. They are losing out the people who dont care about the credits/warbond, aswell as those who would like that but made the decision to already buy credits ingame (or farmed them) and purchased the warbond. Let's assume you purchased credits ingame and bought the warbond with it. Later you decide you'd want to further support the devs and want the cosmetics from the bundle.. but then you realise you wont get half the value of the entire thing (so you pay double, effectively) just because you made the decision to already spend money on the game. That's the worst case outcome, and makes the people who are willing to spend additional money on the game feel bad. It's just objectively a badly thought out system and i have no idea why some people are so smug about their opinions here. We get it.. you either bought it at the right time, or dont like the deal anyways. That doesnt change it fact it's worse than it could be, for literally every involved party.
@Devs, please fix the deal so it gives 1000 credits instead of the warbound many people already unlocked either by farming in game or spending real money.
I'll gladly give an extra £15 if I get more credits instead of unlocking what's been unlocked already. And I'm clearly not the only one. That's a lose-lose situation right now.
Well done on the game and congrats for the success!
Thanks!
Not a fair purchase system tbh and soo easily fixable.
