"Upload Data Via Local Relay" objective is too hard to do solo

The first time I got this objective, on the upload stage, I had to manually realign the satellite dish. Apparently this is meant for 2 players, with 1 player at the controls while the other aligns the dish. Solo, I had to run back and forth between the two and do it through trial and error. Devs, there has to be a way to do this solo that makes it less of a chore.

The second time I got this objective, I went to the controls and was told the power generator was inactive. I went to the power generator and there was no way to turn it on. The switch was not interactive. I ran around trying to find something that needed to be fixed, i.e. broken cables or a weapon that I needed to fire at the generator to make electricity. Nothing. I ended up aborting the mission after running out of time.

Again I'm sure this mission will stop being a mystery as I play this game longer and figure it out. But as it is, the objectives are way too obtuse and not friendly for a solo player.

when then satellite is aligned it does a happy beep, and when you lose the alignment it does a sad beep

The relay makes a distinct ping sound when it's in the proper spot, so you can use that to figure out when it's pointed at the right direction. It's a bit hard to hear if there's a lot of noise around you, but you should definitely keep it in mind the next time you do that objective and learn what it sounds like.

The other two comments are pending, but probably others will say it too, when you allign dishes you will hear a 'beep' from the module where you start the mission from. In the distant one it can be a bit hard to hear over the screams of the bugs/cyborgs but yeah, check the alignment, turn the dish and keep an ear out for the loud beep.

I've done these missions solo several times already and on hard to top it off. You're overthinking it.

For those that run into this in the future:
The sub-objective has a hard-drive that it doesn't really clearly tell you that you have to pick up if you have missed it and are now at the main objective.
I cleared the sub-objective and the hard-drive SPAWNED, but I did not pick it up.
When you get to the main objective the console will only say "ERROR - NO POWER"
But the actual issue is that there is no hard-drive inserted.

The error message is terrible design.

OMG thank you. I could not work out what the hell I was supposed to do to turn the power on

I always just guess the angle difference I need to rotate. Usually it's a wide margin of error. Look up at the dish. But others use the beep method.
