So you don't think people should complain when they paid 40$ for something that doesn't work?

Not everything needs to be a hugbox

Well for me it works fine. Somtimes i have an issue but closing and re-opening the game throws me in so.

i payed 65 and to be honest, the server issues arnt really getting on my nerves as much as it would for others, beacuse i've witness some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game launches so maybe its just my tolerance for these kinda things.

its great its working for you, but maybe look around the rest of the discussion areas before calling out everyone else maybe? And you will see for MANY MANY MANY people this game is not working at all, and every patch they put out is making it worse, not better and it isn't just server issues, there are MANY issues.

Listen, I'm gonna let you all in on a little secret.

The developers are never going to love you. You can like the game and still be mad about the crummy launch. I like this game a lot. This is an objectively bad launch and an objectively bad response to an objectively bad launch.

You don't have to carry water for the developers that are raking in money hand over fist. They're fine. You can be irritated that the game you like to play is being mishandled. It's okay.

And people should disregard fake civilities when the poster just want to backhand insult people for having optimism.

I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to say here, but having optimism is fine. It's not going to make the game work, though.

Okay if thats what you think im doing you're welcome to believe that i guess.

Oh, I wasn't talking about you. Vehicles will probably cool if they ever get implemented.

How was their response bad? For my pov they basically immidiently said theyre working on it

Go to work on Monday, break something, then stare at your boss and say, "I'm working on it" but don't actually do anything to fix the situation. Maybe even make it slightly worse if you can.

Let me know how that works out.
Thats not really whats happened? They didnt break anything theres just too many people wanting to play theyve done some temp fixes like putting a cap so the Queue actually works better.

A better analogy would be: Go to work at your ice cream shop you built from the ground up "say man its a busy day" as you get more customers than youve ever gotten in a day. Then they just keep coming and coming. Your shops being talked about everywhere for its great ice cream, but now you've served so much ice cream your ice cream machine broke oh no! what will you do! You call a repairman and hes actively fixing the machine at your shop but now the customers are yelling at you for having a broken machine.

The game does work if you wanna use an analogy correctly
Its like going to a mcdonalds seeing a line 50 people long and getting mad you dont get your burger in your regular time, sometimes you just gotta wait man

No, that's not what's happening, champ.

I walk into McDonald's and there's a line of 50 people, I leave. If I walk in, give them $5 for a burger and then 100 other people show up and everybody in McDonald's goes "holy smokes, what's going!" and then makes me wait while hundreds and hundreds of more people show up, then finally start just giving meatless burgers to everyone (because that's what game currently is, the meat of the game, the multiplayer experience, is missing), that's the analogy.

I don't know what planet you live on where you think this is acceptable. I'm glad you're okay with it, that's gotta be a super chill way to live your life. I have limited money and limited play time, though. I can't just be giving money to developers who make games that don't work and then just go, "Ahahaha! Dang, it doesn't work. Guess I'll go buy another game while I wait for this to work. Maybe it'll work next week when I have more time to play. LOL!"

i wish i was also so willfully ignorant, hateful and bitter to post such sad and unintelligent takes on the internet publicly. gotta respect that at least. maybe one day you'll experience a real emotion and not be so beat up over a video game  hope middle school goes well!

Dog, the game doesn't load for hundreds of thousands of people. Make all the analogies you want. The game is broken and it's been getting worse over the last week.

Here's an analogy for you: it's like a video game company releasing a game, not planning their release well enough, then they make it worse with every patch and hundreds of thousands of people can't play the game. It's just like that.

Its actually like a game company releasing a game expecting it to be somewhat popular only for it to become the number 1 selling game on steam and with every patch more and more people play the game because of fast media it grows incredible traction in just one week.

The game also loads perfectly fine for the other hundreds of thousands people trying to play and personally i got 45 hours in before so many people tried to play. If youre unhappy with your product refund it you have that right.

Yeah today is really bad. This has been the worse day by far actually. Mostly cause of the boom in popularity. Im sure it'll get fixed, but since they're indie devs it may take a bit for it to be completely solved.

but when you do get to play DAMN is it fun

Fr. People need to be patient nowadays. I don't think the developers expected to have this much players for this game compared to the first one. And it's only 40 bucks. I would understand and be mad if I paid 60-70 for this and it ended up like this.

This attitude is why publishers feel like they can force game studios to work themselves to the bone, churning out half finished titles that barely work on release.

I'd argue we shouldn't be patient and should actually hold the publishers accountable for their business practices that are bad for the studios AND the customers. The only people that benefit are the shareholders and the suits at the publishing companies raking in bonuses for quarterly profits.

What part of the game is rushed or half finished?

"I got mine, who cares about everyone else."

You're going to make a great middle manager somewhere.
