The cap is so small as to probably prevent players from 'buying out' a new warbond or new stratagems out right when they are added. Basically giving a reason to play/progress when things are added.
Yeah but warbonds use medals. Not R.
Worst case scenario it'll always just be for stratagems that get slowly added over time, in which case anyone who plays semi regularly will be constantly maxed out on them.
I know I'd potentially throw Requisition at having one more slot full of SEAF artillery on tap, especially if they've got mini-nuke shells.
I envision 1 time use strategems for mechs with high requisition costs.
