the fact is that this game is meant to be hard, go play barbie if you want it easy. its called helldivers, not paradise divers.
Wanting a balance and logic =/= wanting it to be easy, smooth brain.
"Play a single way".
Not the best advice. Limits playstyles. Bad for the game. Find real solutions to the problems.
The bigger leaping bugs can be an issue. I think they could do with being a bit more squsihy because it can take an entire SMG mag to down one. Yet 2-4 shots from a breaker shotgun downs them with less ammo more easily without having to reload.
The real problem is the chargers. They can somehow keep up if you're not in light armor. Which will be more of an issue when armor is fixed. They've chased me across entire maps and I couldn't shake them off. If they were the smaller faster bugs then at least then can die in less hits. I ran out of ammo and had 100% cooldown with supports.
AND they climb steep cliffs. They're trying to outdo morrowind cliffracers.
Most enemies having thick armor is not a "skill issue". The fact is most weapons can't even get through the armor.
The scythe seems to suck too. That a "skill issue?" I get more kills faster with an SMG and can even do it with less shots (not that a constant beam is a "shot", but point stands).
Somehow robots seem to have less armor then the bugs.
Piggybacking on this point, i could be fine with the natural armor and weapon AP issue, IF THE GAME COMMUNICATED IT. The AutoCannon bills itself as a "light armor" penetration weapon, then the video of it shows it straight up annihilating a Charger. So what is light armor, what is heavy armor?
Contradicting, poorly conveyed, and misleading information is not skill issue, and people who have this "SKILL ISSUE" phrase macro'd to their keyboard so they can keep gargling balls instead of processing a cohesive thought are way the gaming community as a whole is trash.
