I thought the Autocannon required a squad mate next to you in order to use it and couldn't be reloaded solo, or does having a loader next to you just make it faster?
You can reload it by self, just dont forget to take backpack with ammo
oh so you need the backpack stratagem? do you need that for the recoiless rifle too if you want to run it solo?
Edit: Oh wait, I think I misread the strat, so the autocannon and recoiless rifle I assume comes with the backpack and the weapon itself?
Most of the time, if you get up, you die, when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan fall to the ground and try to crawk back to safety, find a small rock or a crater and use as cover as you stay low.
The small robots are the only ones capable of shooting the flare to call for reinforcements, try to take them out first.
The medium and big robots are VERY deadly, much deadlier than bugs, stay out of their path or risk getting 1shot.
You can't really fight well against most robots without medium armor piercing, I think the Slugger is the easiest source, you could try to get it, the dominator from steeled veterans is also pretty good, but the best weapon against them is, for sure, the scorcher, it can damage and kill anything they throw at you except hulks and tanks, and even those have big weak spots you can aim for with the scorcher to eventually kill from range.
Speaking of weak spots, all robot weakspots are visible from above, so mortar turrets can take every robot down, including tanks, if you can hide them well enough.
If you don't have good armor piercing be prepared to aim for weak spots, the AMR can kill hulks with eye shots, any small arms can kill medium robots with headshots, but if your weapon can't stagger them be prepared for some deadly return fire.
As for the weapons themselves, you can never go wrong with the breaker (auto shotgun, page 3 or 4 of normal warbonds), with it you'll be able to dispatch normal robots in 1-3 shells, will be able to punch through the top of walkers if needed with enough bullets, will be able to kill up to 3 medium robots with a single mag if you aim for the head.
And for pistol, the small smg, put it in semi auto mode and it's just an upgraded version of the basic pistol. Revolver is not that good, it takes forever to reload and won't punch through walkers either way.
At that lvl, My loadout would be :
-Breaker (diligence is okay though)
-SMG pistol
-heavy explosive grenade or impact grenade
- eagle bombardment (fast, comes back fast enough, can destroy factories, will murder tanks given how slow they are)
- Autocannon
- orbital strike (precision). or smoke barage to get away/push base with laser canon towers
- disposable rocket launcher to deal with dropships (aim for one of the 4 reactors), or the eventual hulk/tank in a pinch when all airstrikes are on cooldown
Diligence might not be "meta" but if you like running it go for it.
You have something vs small/medium/heavy. Only thing i would recommend is getting something to properly handle bigger threats... disposable wont be reliable... recoiless or autocannon will become avalible to you and you should upgrade.
they do come with a backpack... so either take the backpack yourself or coordinate with a friend(you can reload if you press 5 while wearing the backpack)
