PvP exists in this game.
Some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spawned me, then instantly threw barrage on top of me.
I shot him with arc thrower in the back after next spawn of mine.
He screamed so I spawned him agin and shot him agin.
He started to call me names, so I didnt kill him this time after he was spawned.
He used that mercy to throw both eagle barrage and precision strike at my position.
I runned away but ally shot him in the ass with a railgun instead, dude rage quitted.

They stated they did not want to add PvP to this game as it would create a toxic gameplay. Tbh I back that. Also it would not even fit in with the lore of the game in the first place.

Why would we waste super earth lives on each other if it doesn't include delivering managed democracy to the systems?

Anyway - depends on how you look at it. After every mission there's a stats review. If you're feeling competitive, remember that every match is an opportunity to show your whole squad that you're, statistically, the best player there is. That's PvP in a way.

Devs have already said there is no PvP and they are not planning on implementing PvP. That is a good thing imo. It is a nightmare to balance weapons in both PvE and PvP, I would personally much rather the devs spent their time solely balancing the PvE weapons.

CEO of Arrowhead said he will never implement PvP in Helldivers and if you want PvP go play Tarkov.

It is simply not meant to be in the game, the CEO of Arrowhead & Helldivers 2 Directive Creator said so.

"Hey; We'll "never" add a PvP-mode. This is to reduce toxic elements from the community.

We want an environment that's supportive, fun and where we all are fighting on the same side!"
