the Visual Effect is huge, but the blast AOE damage is so tiny it's like precision strike AOE

the link above is what a 1000 lb bomb(GBU32)JDAM looks like in real life notice how the shrapnel on the adjacent hillside. Ok its a game remove the shrapnel aspect but the explosion should be accurate.
I imagine the stratagem to be about the same size and weight of a cricketball.
Most adults of serviceable military service age can at least throw that 20 meters at a minimum, even when you take into account of how it rolls a bit on the floor too. A soldier should be able to do say 30 meters minimum if they're ♥♥♥♥ at it.
Let's say it takes 10 seconds for the stratagem to land. You would have been running for at least 10 seconds. Then it's another 3 seconds for the bomb to hit.
You throw the ball 30 meters away and you've been running for 13 seconds minimum.
A soldier should be able to run say 80 meters in 13 seconds.
So 30 + 80 meters in 13 seconds = 110 meters.
You've easily cleared the initial impact radius to find some favour to save yourself from the wind blast and shrapnel and all I've been doing is using VERY conservative numbers for how far the soldier can run and throw.
Regardless, with the helldivers throwing so many stratagems I imagine they'd train you up a little bit at least to throw that ♥♥♥♥ as far as possible when needed as part of basic training, because you'll be doing it a lot. So in theory, they should be able to escape the 500kg bomb quite comfortably.
Do you think the orbital precision strike has a bigger AOE?
