$40 and microtransaction is surprisingly handle fairly where you can get everything in-game
The same thing happen with Palworld and Tekken.
They were able to maximize profits within their own genre with no competition.
Helldivers 2 has the effect of Risk of Rain 2 for me too.
I'm not a fan of how Risk of Rain 1 plays but I really enjoyed Risk of Rain 2.
If the perspective is keeping you from play certain games, you'll be missing out on a few very good gaming experiences imo. I respect your choice to not play them though.
