[Resolved] The game now blocks any Elgato peripherals on my PCs now

Edit: Seems like most peoples Logitech gear still works. I removed logitech from the title. But a lot of other remapped buttons do not function, foot pedals, mouse 4 and 5, AHK etc. are all disabled now.

As soon as its opened, any of my Elgato devices stop to function when the game window is in focus. They do function normally outside of the game or even while the game is open, but not in focus.
Happened since todays patch. Happens on multiple PCs.

can I see proof that it's gameguard blocking your peripherals? because mine are also logitech and working like always

What else would prevent Elgato being able to see the software, what else would prevent AHK from functioning within the game, what else would prevent users from using re-assigned keys on peripherals, what else would block every single accessibility peripheral from functioning as soon as the games launch button on steam is clicked?
I have no idea why your logitech stuff works, but a lot of peoples peripherals (including logitech) no longer work since patch 008.

My logitech mouse, headset and audio controller work just fine.

Your problem probably lies in some translatory software you use to give teh game teh required input.

These systems are constantly abused by cheaters. So they got blocked. AHK for example is blocked to stop you binding a strategem sequence to one key input and rightly so. Its part of the game mechanics.

Whenever you use the software, gameguard cpu usage spikes (doing it's job blocking stuff).

I still can't for the life of me think of possibly why this game needs anti cheat. Is it not purely a co-op game? I'd rather just leave a lobby I suspect someone of cheating in than deal with whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the anticheat is doing.

"now" ? Did it ever not? Not going to lie, first thing I did was try out binding reinforce to my stream deck so I could res more efficiently on the run. The game didn't register the inputs.
It's kinda whatever as the streamdeck text input's are slower than I can type in myself anyway.

I used my stream deck to quickly open menues like the graphics setting and to adjust the games volume within the windows audio mixer. My pedals are used for movement. I never tried macros (mostly because they are often just broken on elgato anways), but that is probably why they blocked it now. Which is a stupid reason for the above mentioned cases.

People who want to use macros will always find a way, But people with disabled hands or arms now cant play the game anymore.

I don't get why they need to protect us against people using macros. It's not PVP. It's not competitive against others.
If it bothers someone that their team is using macros, they can just move to the next squad.

And ontop of that, I have seen plenty of people who dont use macros and are still just as fast if not faster with their fingers.

My logitech keyboard and mouse are both still working fine. As are all remapped mouse buttons such as 4 and 5.
