What REALLY needs to happen, is helmet attributes that give sample detectors so the POI's with seemingly no samples left can actually be turned into marker icons like the depleted ones.
Speaking of the icons, I would really, REALLY like if the "dud POI" like fritzed hellbombs, emptied caches (damn you D) and no-sample POI's like weapons/ammo/supply cache's turn the diamond icon to marker icon upon discovery/depletion instead of permanently staying as diamond icon
