Humans used to farm bugs. Likely to be food.

Bugs broke free. Humans try to kill bugs. Bugs defend their hives because sod being farmed to be food again. For freedom!

It's basically Starcraft with how the zerg and humans defeated Abadon. On that note what about raids against big giant monsters/robots that threaten the entire universe?

It would be interesting to see different factions of bugs and robots fighting against each other where some are with the players. For whatever complicated story reasons.

Even having aliens and bots fight each other would be neat.

As cool as that would be I thin the closet we're going to get is that one level in Half life 2 with the antlions.
