How to reliably kill bile titans ?

Hey fellow Helldivers.

Yersterday me and my mate foughts a bile titan. While we managed to bring it down after some time with 2 autocanon and mainly trying to focus shot on the glowing abdomen, we can't help but feel that it took us way too much time, especially when thoses will become normal mobs in higher difficulties and with the addition of others ennemies at the same time.

So, besides airstrikes, I wondered how you personally deal with thoses the most efficient way ?

Once you have Railgun unlocked at level 20, Bile Titans are relatively trivial to kill.

2 headshots with a disengaged safety will drop them.

One railcannon orbital strike and minimal shots from an autocannon will take it down. Pretty sure the railcannon does like 90% of its HP.

The orbital laser usually takes one down or a couple of spears

You shoot them in the face with a railgun, they die faster than a charger with the same railgun in the face.

"Besides airstrikes" might be your problem here. They ARE the most reliable way to take them down.

The 500kg Bomb will kill it instantly if it stands near the center of impact. Rocket pods will shred its armor (sometimes also 1 hits them from my experience), making it easy to take it down with conventional weapons. The Orbital laser will nearly take it down on its own, but it will need to hit it for the entire duration. The Orbital Railcannon will usually 1 hit it.

I find the EMS field to be very helpful when taking them on.

Fast to deploy, recharges quickly and can help in avoiding misses with other more valuable stratagems.

Yeah I know, ideally you want to bomb the ♥♥♥♥ out of such a threat, but you might be on cooldown so that's why I wanted to know a way to do it without it.

So, basically, you all says that the best is railgun or lance. Shame, I still need 5 levels to grind then...
I guess it will be 500kg bomb for the meantime.
