How to reliably kill bile titans ?

Hey fellow Helldivers.

Yersterday me and my mate foughts a bile titan. While we managed to bring it down after some time with 2 autocanon and mainly trying to focus shot on the glowing abdomen, we can't help but feel that it took us way too much time, especially when thoses will become normal mobs in higher difficulties and with the addition of others ennemies at the same time.

So, besides airstrikes, I wondered how you personally deal with thoses the most efficient way ?

The easiest way to kill them without needing any late-game unlocks or long cooldown stratagems is to use the expendable anti-tank (or grenade launcher) and hit them in the mouth as they are about to shoot acid. This will kill them in a couple of shots with the anti-tank, and you can usually finish them off by shooting underneath them if they aren't quite dead. Grenades I have heard can actually kill it outright, but it's harder to hit those.

Later on, you can use a 500 KG bomb or the orbital laser to kill them very easily (though these have long cooldowns/issues). Or you can use the overpowered railgun to kill them. Or you can use the crew-served rocket launcher to rapidly hit it in the head and kill it without being limited as much as you are with the expendable anti-tank. Or you can hit it directly with an orbital precision strike and either kill it or mostly kill it.

The trick though is to aim for the open mouth with heavy weapons, typically.

Nice to know that the mouth is a weak point. i will try that, thx.

Railgun headshots is the most optimal way.

Also, it kills Chargers pretty easily (2 shots in leg, armor broke, finish off with shotgun).

The best way is to shoot the eyes of the bike titan it’s really close the the mouth the top left or right if his mouth and it mostly 1 shots, if you miss it’s still like 2 shots

You can do the most damage to it when it opens its mouth to shoot acid.
