Does it tell the other play if they get kicked?

I take my dog out and do a quick chore in-between matches and I cannot find an option to leave my own group that people join and I've only seen an option to kick.

I don't mean to sound Mormon but can other players see if I keep them? I'd rather not be rude and will just keep restarting the game if people can see I kick them. They did nothing wrong and I don't want to hurt feelings.

Yes, if you kick them, there will be a big message say "You have been kicked by the host"
But you can also just tell them of course...

yes, it will tell the player they have been kicked, then it will also tell the player when they do quick player that they have been kicked from this instance cause they game stupidly will try to auto put them back into the same group with quick play.

Yeah, it'll say they were kicked but I'm also pretty sure the game lies about being kicked sometimes. Either way, it's not a big deal to kick people off your ship unless you're doing a series of missions. Even then, it's not a huge deal and I wouldn't worry about it.

It's indeed annoying you can't "leave" your own game. Unfortunately they do get a huge "You have been kicked" banner. Usually I just alt-f4 for similar reasons; kicking people who just played along well like that feels... crude.

The option for a Host to go back to Solo Play doesn't appear to be available or something which I've come across yet. You can change your game privacy in the options but it is kinda buried and I don't know if it affects people on your ship already.

It really does lol, I know I'm being over the top but a subtle I left would be nice.

That's why I didn't do it last night to a party of 3. I'm playing at difficulty 6 and had a 3 party team join me all of which were lvl 7. Honestly I didn't have fun and It was chore to play with them, but I left them for 3 landings and then the fourth I took them to fight the terminators and they just couldn't. Needless to say they quit afterwards. I didn't want to be mean and kick them, but after this I really don't want to "carry" a rookie squad again.
