The Breaker is massively overpowered
Just trying to go through all the weapons the Breaker is just... hilariously broken. What I would like to see is to have its available ammunition reduced: a smaller mag and less of them in reserve. This would make it similar to the Redeemer (Uzi/Mac10).

Right now it's so much stronger than everything else it actually feels like gimping yourself not using it, especially on higher difficulties.

on any difficultly above 6 you need the breaker vs bugs if you are the heavy buster on your team, you want to know the breakers draw back, ammo count you never have enough rounds and are always sitting on a mag and a half if you are using the thing right, the other guns need to be brought up to par with the breaker, give us back weapon upgrades to fix the issue like the first game.

It's more that the other weapons are underpowered.

If you can't get through armor then it's an uphill battle. Marskman rifle isn't cutting it. Breaker is accurate even at long range.

Buff marskman armor penetration and nerf logn range breaker accuracy.

Considering how all ennemy are HP sponge, A breaker level of damage for everything should be the bare minimum
HD1 was plenty hard and ennemies were nowhere near as spongy

Amen to that. I agree with everyone syaing it's rather most of the other weapons underperforming than Breaker being OP.

That was the first thing, that came to my mind aswell, after testing the thing: Medium armor penetration. It could be one way, to even justify its shortcomings in a balancing sense.

my thought was atleast give it some more bullets in the clips.

imagine wanting to nerf a gun in PvE. How about they buff all the other weapons to match the Breaker? I want to land on planets and obliterate bugs with the most powerful weapons I can get hold of, I don't want to fanny around with a nerf gun
the only one I am kinda disappointing in was the counter sniper being just a bit stronger in damage, however the multiple range in scope is not bad, actually pretty good for a stealth build to give you cover long range. The breaker is powerful but the mag capacity can be a pain even if you spam supplies. I've learned to ♥♥♥♥ around with all the guns and learned most of em have pretty good uses other then "WOW IT DOES MUCH DAMAGE AND HAS FAST SHUUT" plus combos with other folks who have sentience and understand a language can turn even harder difficulties into a breeze. But I do agree, we need the guns to be more tuned and less nerfed or super buffed, support weapons also suffer similar issues. Also no spoongy enemies in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ helldivers 1? You are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me right?

That makes absolutely zero sense. How do you deduce "all weapons are underpowered" as opposed to one overpowered one? That's making 10 assumptions as opposed to one.
i cant tell if you're being serious or just trying to farm steam points by taking advantage of the fact the rest of the arsenal sucks to use in comparison to the only competent weapon in the game...

if weapons unlocked before and after the Breaker labelled EXPLOSIVE and INCENDIARY are underperforming against a basic auto shotty, that should be all the evidence you need to know that something's wrong, not go : 'oh, this weapon is actually strong...and everyone's using it...NERF EVERYTHING! IT SUCKS!!!'

Exactly. Have you tried killing a Brute Guard / Elite Warrior with the Scythe yet? Ridiculous. At least the first game rewarded good aiming, so that crits did the work.

Great idea, then the devs have to buff and re-balance ALL of the enemy units to make up for the insane power spike.
