Steam overlay doesn't work?

Can't buy a damn thing

Same. When I try to buy credits it says I have to have the steam overlay enabled. But when I go into the steam settings for the game the enable overlay while in-game option is disabled and greyed out.

Same here. I even tried just adding funds to my Steam wallet to see if I could make the purchase and it still won't let me...

Wait, I figured it out. You have to do it through your main Steam settings, not from the Helldivers 2 properties menu.

Steam -> Settings -> In Game -> Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game

Mine was disabled as well. once it's enabled, it looks like you can enable it per game in each game's properties

Solution, Steam, Feature ( by right click on Helldiver 2 in your game library) there is Overlay at the top of it to activate. hope this helps some of you, i was able to buy

Enabled but still does not work. I tried 2 methods, by going to steams settings and right clicking on game in library. Help!

Everything is enabled and it was before and it’s still not working I put in a ticket at arrowhead because it’s def not steam

Enable "show toolbar as list view" in the steam settings under enable steam overlay. Worked for me
