railcannon strike or the SAM side objectives on ♥♥♥ planets can do the job
Recoilless can be pulled out and snap out a 180 3rd person shot. Disposable makes me feel like a loading timer will appear in the wait between Pressing 3, and it actually being ready and scoped.
Sometimes you nail the engine and it doesn't drop because who knows. Which makes it extra frustrating when you are using the far worse to aim disposable, and the dropship does a 50 foot bop up and down sometimes because screw you for seeing it coming.
Of course, that also helps really drive home "yeah this dropship spam is A BIT MUCH" When you annihilate two in a row and whoops here comes three, four, and five.
"Well, at least I already have the bonus support ammo and faster call ins! That is what matters-wait no hold on..."
Drop ships have 4 engines so the odds are in your favor.
As General Brasch explains "Use the right weapon for the job and you will achieve victory!"
Hit any of the thrusters with a recoiless or disposable rocket and it'll take it out with 1 round.
