you must have broken a rule which 99% of discord servers have the worlds sh*ttest rules possible.
ps discord has security issues so its best to avoid the software, use skype instead it maybe garbage but its less risky as its own by microsoft who is already spying on you if you have windows.
Also, nobody gets banned for 'no reason'.
It's a virtual machine of a website... there are no security holes that open up by using discord. - and that ridiculous article you posted you didn't even read it yourself. You have to physically join a random discord server, and click to download a malicious file.. discord itself is not injecting malware oy vey.
it seems like they're trying to control any discourse the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spread in an attempt to double down on their decision, even innocent discussions if what you say is true.
ive seen a couple other people also having that problem. so innocents are caught in the crossfire.
In the end HD1 discord server was deleted, the mod who pinged everyone deleted his twitter account after people found out he was a nazi... and the memes keep on coming.
They had some people spam "F" when steam servers were down, and with them, Helldivers didn't work either. A mod thought it was a good idea to ping @everyone, which summoned the entire community to join in on the spam. The mods then locked everything down and threw bans and timeouts around. How they did not anticipate that sending a ping to every member of the discord would result in more spam is beyond me. Oh and they then went to call the community babies.
Only thing worse than a powertripping mod is an entitled Karengamer who effed around and are crying they found out.
