Is the new civilian EVAC mission broken?
I've played the new EVAC mission on the planet defense now three times on extreme and the bots are like dropping in every secon and overall 20 tanks or sth like that. I've already played on suicide difficulty against bots and that felt like a walk in the park in comparison to that civilian rescue thing. What's going on there?

Bro I just did the same mission (we failed it lol) and it was crazy!! Truly a helldive in that mission with everything just in flames and exploding

The civilians just stand around and don't extract. The mission is bugged

Why are people saying they are new? Were the locked to the highest difficulties before because my group and me been playing them since at least day 2 on 7/8/9 difficulty.

Even on lower difficulties the enemy drop offs are crazy, Literally no breathing space or time to get civvies to safety

I would say, it's doable if everybody in the team, takes the recoiless for the dropships propulsion and some form of EMS to pin the robots that managed to land. That being said, I don't want to be "forced" to pick a certain skill because it's the only one that works.
So either change the quantity that spawns in, or give us weapons/stratagems that can deal with this situation in a timely manner, other than what's available at the moment.

They are not the same as previous evac civies missions. These are like the arena but you do civies evac, instead of just staying alive.

Yea, extreme seems like helldiver.

And if people have to play a certain way to do the mission then that's limiting play styles. First make it bloody possible on lower lower-medium difficulties. If players are dying that quickly in mobs that heavy then how can people even think of tactics at all?

Oh gotcha. Yeah played one of those earlier with some competent chaps.
We just all put up mortars in the center and were boringly pressing the buttons.
It just completely escaped me that this was the entire mission haha. My bad.

Yeah that is the solution I came up with myself too (plus have everybody wear a recoiless to shoot down incoming dropships) but that means that we are forced into a certain play style/load-out for the whole team. Not sure I like the idea. for other missions, at higher difficulties, some items are required too but you can also bring in some wildcards. Not here though.

Which limits play styles. If people can't play in varied ways in a mission then they'll stop playing.

is totally broken i tried 3 times with people over lvl 30 it doesnt matter the difficult the spawn is crazy, no time to clean or reload.

i go to terminoids system robots are broken atm

Edit: sorry, I forgot to add the fact that I hate being forced to do things a specific way. So what you said is entirely true imo.
