Discord
DO NOT trust any mod in the discord for ANY reason. There is 0 mod vetting and you could be banned for no reason.
To begin there was a recent server hiccup on steam, a minority of the community "Pressed F to pay respects" as one would. Then one idiot mod @everyone in a server of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS, just to power trip and try to tell the who community not to press F or get timedout/banned. As you expect not many people like getting pinged for 0 reason, especially if it is an @everyone. So the fight for freedoms began. As the server was shut down one channel at a time and bans were given out, but given out willy nilly and many innocent were banned. Not only that but the mods came out to say that it was a small minority of "children" who were to blame and not the immature ping happy manlet purplegion who made the biggest blunder of his discord career.
Game is good and all, but the discord is not safe for anyone it seems. Accountability dodging baby mods would rather ostracize the community than admit a mistake.
The longer this goes on the more backlash it will create

It's what they do in Japan and their culture has the least crime in the world near enough. I watched a video of someone leave a brand new I phone on a park bench in the middle of a busy city there, 10 hours later the phone was still there, Here in the UK you go in a corner shop to get milk and leave your dog tied outside and it's gone when you get back...

There's plenty of crime in that country otherwise they wouldn't need police whatsoever. That's why they have a 97% conviction rate right? They're also on an island not having to deal with rampant migration like other regions. Finland was the #1 country without crime.. jee I wonder what happened there. It's all about where you live, and what the culture norms are. Where I live in the states I can leave my car open, windows down.. and NO ONE will touch anything. Other parts of the country you'll come back and the car is gone. -But to say Japan is somehow special because of their culture.. i really do recommend you look into the yakuza, and the very criminal element that's there. You go to places in Japan.. and you'll get robbed, beaten, and whatever else.

You watched one video
There are others that explain it's where you place it that matters. Not every city in Japan is as safe as people assume it to be. Just like any other country.

you have to forgive them, being silenced on 1 weirdocord is like gvt censorship for these people. It's the biggest grievance of their lives, they're tough guys, unlike you.

NAH, discord costs the devs nothing. Just like using influencers as nearly free advertising .

You guys are literally mad about a ping on discord, that just shows your type. Babies Wah wah.. This studio was small, HD1 only had a continuous 400 to 750 player max for years. All of the sudden there’s a million HD2 copies sold in less than a week? They’ve probably yet to sleep to satisfy you cry babies. Walk away for a couple weeks and come back when some things are fixed. This game turned it to be a hit! Let them soak that in.
