You know.
Could have somethign to do with it being a monday...
An offline mode...in a team shooter...
that's called friends only in options.
You need to understand that logic doesn't apply to any of the posts about the amount of people playing the game.
Pointing out that it's not prime time, or that loss of players after launch is something literally every game suffers from will not be counted as legitimate arguments.
I'm thinking we try the Chewbacca defence next.
No one cares.
No, an offline mode meaning and offline mode with bots. HD2 will not last without better support. An offline mode ensures the legacy of the game continues as the numbers drop and people just stop playing. Most importantly that we can play when servers inevitability go offline.
Its like people have a hard-on for this game to finally fail or something. Player numbers fluctuate, its completely natural
That's a discussion for 9 months from now maybe, or what ever they want to do with it at the time.
But no, an offline mode is not required for a live service game.
I disagree. It doesn't need to be an online only game as the only reason it is, is to pretend there some type of war effort progress. It's a simple game that isn't complex enough to warrant being online only. Drop in, complete the objective and leave. Rinse dry repeat. Deep Rock Galactic is pretty much the same game, only it's also a game you can continue playing offline. HD@ is new and it's just become repetitive.
