"Green" missions?
Sometimes you can see "green" missions you can join on the map.

At first I though those are ongoing missions people from my friends list are in. But... at the moment no one from my friends list is online, yet I see green icons. So they must mean something else?

What are they?

If you don't see anyone online they could just being using offline mode via Steam but still playing. Unless you mean the ingame friends list? I'm not sure if offline mode affects that or not. But the green is for friends games.

Many of those are just 10 minutes out of date. They were playing, but aren't now.

I meant the in-game friends list. That one was blank - no one was online at the time, but I saw numerous "green" missions...
