Helldivers destroyed my PC
Originally, I did not really want to play this game and only got it because my friends were all playing it. Its not because I find it offensive or anything, it's just not my cup of tea.

So... I installed it and played a couple missions before my computer started acting up. So I checked out the Event Viewer and found that Helldivers had fried my graphics card (My mistake right, the recommended is the minimum specs so I was running at my own risk).

I got a new graphics card (more powerful) and installed it again but my computer kept blue screening after about 10 minutes - 1 hour of use and not detecting my boot drive.

So I investigated and found that Helldivers Kernal-Level Anti-cheat had disabled my security processor for Windows 11 and completely corrupted my version of Windows 11.

I thought this might have been my computer and not the game that reacted badly to this so I installed Windows 10 on a separate hard drive and attempted to play again and was met with the same issues.

I am using an AMD Chipset and Helldivers 2 seriously screwed up my PC, losing me all my work and forcing me to wipe the computer completely and start again. Touch wood, this does not happen again but I am wondering if anyone else had similar issues.

My specs are;
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050
RAM: 16384 MB RAM

Yes, that fully sounds believable.

Interesting... I forgot that everyone is assumed to be a liar today but this actually happened. I am trying to work out if this is just my computer or if anyone else has had similar issues with this game.

What did you investigate and how did you find out that exactly this did happen.

What security processor? And what does it have to do with your filesystem corruption.

nProtect is bad, but nit this bad, otherwise they would go bankrupt.

You should check your motherboard, it might be frying//short-circuiting everything

I sincerely doubt any of this is true.

Oh, I'm sure it totally could have happened. I'm also totally sure it has nothing to do with the anticheat.

Especially if things like TSM are turning off randomly.

Cool, a new episode of "Things that never happened", I didn't realise the new season had started yet.

I have limited computer knowledge, this is what I was told by my partner/friends who do know about computers. I wasn't expecting such a hateful response from a lot of people on here.

I am just repeating what I saw in the event viewer, I had consistent Kernal-Critical events until I reinstalled Windows 11. I am not saying the game caused this, but I am being told that's what happened.

I was just asking if anyone else has experienced similar issues. Sorry if I struck a nerve.
