Make the shredder tank more interesting to fight against
Since it has 4 fast firing cannons, make it an AA tank so that the eagle can't be used in its proximity (exactly like the AA emplacement secondary objective).

its nothing much, just adding some spice to it :)

Might as well make the AA turrets also shoot at us like the shredder tank to spice things up.

That is not how such tank type work.

Yes, those things. You can even see them fire at the eagle trying to hit it when you call it anywhere in the map and yet they always fail (would be interesting if they could).

come to think of it, its a great way to know where the AA emplacement objective is. You just gotta look at the eagle and see where the tracers are coming from.

That is not how such tank type work.

I know, but don't they share the same turret and cannons?

it could, in theory, become an SPAAG.

Doesn't that make it stronger than their heavier version? and limit players choice even more?

I had no problem dealing with them since their entire turret is essentially a weakspot. They are easier to kill than their heavy tank counterpart.

The AA turret is like a radar jammer, but only for Eagle strikes. It's not meant to take your eagles down, just to stop them being used in an area.

If your eagle pilot was that dumb to be shot down, then we'd have a chance of blowing up the AA turrets with the eagle strike craft crashing into it. Unfortunately, she's too smart and we can't convince her otherwise of this plan.

That's not the main point, the thing is made out of glass if you have Quasar/EAT/RR to deal with them so it's always easy, but it's the crazy utility that you want to give.

AA site can be predicted and avoided, but these things are random and always moving toward you, so you effectively forced players to only use orbitals with support gun/backpack loadout.

Good counterpoint. Actually this could be insane at helldive difficulty lol. Just imagine the chaos.

You could limit their numbers, and weaken the turret armor even more. I haven't tested the new explosive sniper rifle against it but I know the autocannon can destroy it.

I should come up with better suggestions :)

Don't feel bad, it's actually a logical suggestion from a realism stand point, it just doesn't really sound very fun from the gameplay stand point lol, but as a hardmode modifier...
