Please, I lobby the Liberty Council to give us Helldivers a speed loader. Loading each individual round takes too much time and prevents me from fulfilling my patriotic duty to its greatest extent.

Yeah they expect me to believe that there is manufacturing infrastructure in place to make autocannon ammo clips and MG linked belts, but not a single person ever though to make moon clips for the service revolvers? wtf is super earth doing

Definitely need to get that weapon mod system in place and make a speed loader available for the revolver... along with other stuff for various weapons like higher capacity magazines, different sights, etc.

The lack of any utility or practical use cases is what kills it.

the revolver pierces medium armor you carry it for armored targets if your main is light targets.

i prefer the p-2 oer the machine pistol. mp will saw down one meatsaw, or one sweep of an incoming wave, then you're as defenseless as an out of ammo primary with similar reloading time and timings. p-2 basically doesn't stop shooting until it's out of ammo. mp is super, super slow to point at stuff in comparison; very heavy gun.

I'll often take an autocannon on easier missions so that I can switch to it for one shot, to hit a devvy, then switch back. I often wish I could replace that one shell without having to empty 5 for the whole stripper clip.

it would be a good attachment option though.

The only thing the Senator really needs is crosshairs even while reloading.

Yeah, it reloads slow but you can fire after reloading every bullet too. That's actually a strength.

The Senator is for when you're using a primary, like say the Scythe, that simply bounces off things like hive guards. It's situational, but it's good for it's narrow use case.

I think some of you just expect way, way too much from a secondary pistol. Just use a grenade pistol or the P-19 if you don't like the Senator.

Fact is, the people complaining about the Senator wouldn't use it even if it did have a speed loader. Reading through the replies so far show that pretty well.

It's reload is easily the worst thing about it aside from the fact fodder isn't dying 1 for 1.
