Stratagem concept ideas
Let’s do a little group brainstorming. Since arrowhead clearly has no intention of slowing the updates we are going to see a huge increase of stratagems that open up different playstyles. What stratagems would you like to see added? I’ll give an example to get the gears rolling.

Name: (assisted mech reloader) AMR Rover
Class/type: support backpack
Function: Within the vicinity of a mech the AMR Rover will become active. Upon activation the user will see the nearby mech’s ammo levels indicated by color code (green for 60%-100%, yellow for 40%-59%, red for 10%-39%, and dark red for empty).

Upon button activation the AMR Rover user will send the rover to the mech to preform a reload. Both the Mech and the AMR user will be informed of a reload in progress—during this time the mech cannot fire until the reload is complete.

Upon completion of the reload the AMR will consume a charge and be returned to the user. The AMR has 4 charges that can be reloaded with ammo boxes (each boxes reloads 50% of a single charge). You cannot use the AMR while inside a mech

Would probably teamkill ALOT and people would likely get kicked for using it but an incendiary mortar that does impact damage along with setting the surrounding area on fire.

A bomb that has a large shockwave area that deals damage over a larger area compared to the 500kg but with less damage. (shockwave like when the ICBM launches)

Controllable VTOL gunship, would have to find a safe area as you use the controller without dying but can assist your teammates from the sky.
Or
A UAV that hovers high above for like 3 minutes and the whole team can pull up a screen on their arm to check the surrounding area from the sky.


Just some random goofy ideas that everyone probably hates.

It would be nice to have a UAV that points out where samples are. I’m
So sick of running around dead zones trying to find the last common sample. A vtol would be sick to call in when you’re under heavy bot fire to provide backup support

I've mentioned it before somewhere else, but I'd love to see some stratagems that let us better handle environmental hazards, like some kind of fire suppressant to keep an area safe from fire tornadoes (I'm not entirely sure if the bubble shield also keeps them out, since nobody ever runs that thing), or some kind of Anti-Air specific sentry, that shoots down flying enemies, but can also target meteors when another shower of them is coming down

So far it seems there's little interaction between the player and the environmental hazards/hurdles, so I'd love to see the option for us to combat even those

Maybe not a stratagem that takes up a slot but could be something that you purchase before diving in for like R credits or something that gives you it as a straaegem ingame?
Like pre-planning in PayDay, you don't need to buy the extras but it makes life easier or more fun.
