Not worth it
Just like you im a "bonus nade" armor user. I have both the 100 armor and the 50 armor. Even a 60ish one. (from super store before while ago)
This one in super store is not so diff than a 50 armor. You feel mega squishy. Just maybe 1 hit more to tank.
As for armor class I've been playing medium ever since. Tried light once I didn't find the speed difference worth it against the amount of bulkiness lost.
Never tried heavy armor but also never saw the point.
I've been planning to get a light armor with DS if I ever see it in the store but I might just stay with the basic warbond mid one forever unless they change things up.
Tho there are combinations that are not yet in warbonds(they'll come eventually, rest assured), like heavy and light medic or heavy and light padded.
I got medium engineer one, because I got bored of default look and like that perk.
Example : Previous one i think. There was a "light armor" with "bonus padding" = you are fast as light armor but 100 armor (though you are basically no passive than other armors)
