Interesting take, so because you don't like the business practice it's acceptable to use an exploit to circumvent it?
The more sane approach to the whole thing as a consumer would have been to just not purchase the software in the first place.
Or, purchase it, quietly enjoy the exploit you have found while you could and leave it at that.
Instead the OP makes a post on a game forum where he pretty much states it's his RIGHT to circumvent the monetizing model, because he doesn't agree with it?
I mean if it's an exploit, then no surprise they patched it? Idm farming multiple missions for SC. Besides, I could also use the samples so i'd rather actually beat the missions then alt f4 out of them. The exploit being patched affects me in zero ways.
Exactly, but people wanted the easy way out, so they found it. Then it was shared and eventually, someone with 15kSC was said to have gotten banned because he got that SC in a few hours and the system flagged him. This is unconfirmed mind you, but it put that fear into people when he put the post up on reddit, so the SC farming slowed, but never stopped.
I guess the devs have been working on the fix behind the scene.
Does that make it ok to steal from them? Legally, no. That's essentially the same thing that is happening here, regardless if you disagree with the particular practice.
Good to let everyone know you're a criminal I guess.
TBF he's not a clown he's a full circus
So whoever spreading that is full of ♥♥♥♥ if they said they use the exploit for it
Also some previous posts said cost of store items has gone up. This is false, nothing has changed. Others said its a broken model so they will change it. It is not, everything is based on allowing people to play a month to earn the next thing or buy to skip the grind.
Either way, playing the game gets you a fair reward that involves some skill/memory. From simply playing, I amounted more than enough over the past few months to only use in game funds to purchase everything. The resource/samples caps are too low. Otherwise Arrowhead has done a great job with their micro transaction system. Its not greedy by a long shot. I rather more companies followed this system. They would make better and more appealing products.
you forgot the second half of the saying, "proceed to get banned when caught."
What about the armors from the store?
