agreed though. i think the guns pretty good if you use it right
Yup, these people are also wrong. Not me who did a helldive run with the default/starter gear and no strategems, and still clearing all side objectives. I believe they suffer from an ailment known as "skill issue", with the only known cure being a heavy dose of "git gud". I wouldn't call my group "masters of the game", and we were able to get that done.
Like sure it COULD work if you try hard enough...but why should you?
When there are much better guns that fill the same role out there.
Skill issue and git gud are such brain rot responses now that don't actually mean anything because of how overused they are
You were able to take the default Liberator into a helldive because the base Liberator is the second best gun in this game, next to the Sickle, followed by the Defender. Every other weapon is basically ♥♥♥♥ tier with either very little ammo, very little fire rate, very little damage, or all 3 and they feel awful to use.
But I think when you start having to take a specific armor set, and use a specific stance, just to get the gun to perform at even an adequate level, you're reaching a bit.
Compare it to something like the newly patched dominator. Having armor with recoil reduction and kneeling/going prone helps with that weapon as well. But even if you're not wearing that kind of armor, and standing, the gun still feels really good to use because it just does powerful things. The adjuicator doesn't.
I don't think every gun in the game has to feel like the best gun in the world. But when most of the community can't find a good reason to use a weapon, that's probably when it needs a little bit of work if they want people to actually pick it.
