Luckily for me the game runs well in dx12 no problem.
Take a look in Reliability History and EventViewer.
Either one or both may be capturing error codes, warnings, or even informational events just before or at the time of the crashes.
DX12 is pretty much always the worst choice when you could use Vulkan or DX11. Its just never done properly, has issues and runs worse. Thats why people use it.

Try running the built in Windows Troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may may and fix something.
Also run "sfc /scannow" and "dism"
