Did they remove the defence missions?
.. they were my fav mode, i would like to play them much more

The defense failed. Much like the bug tower missions, some missions are tied to a storyline and come and go.

I liked and miss those defend tower missions vs the bugs.

No. You have those as a matter of course on planets where you need to defend. On planets you need to liberate there are other missions.

It's very fun against bugs, I would say more than against bots, the chargers can 1S1K the gates so good tactics are even more important than against the bots.

They should make it so all missions can always spawn, but they'll spawn much more/always spawn during those story line things. The bug towers were my favorite too. I'm sure they'll come back, but still.

Lol i hope they are not just a one time thing. They were MILES beyond the absolute garbage 15 min defending of some wildly inefficient and bot designed ruin. I don't understand why they don't just copy the fort from the first starship troopers movie in design at least. They could at the very least make those maps slightly bigger, god forbid you put one toe outside of the crappy walls you're given.

There was a time where you could find operations with 3 times 40 min proper big maps. Ive not seen that in ages.

I liked the raise the flag missions too but I think those stop appearing at a really low level like level 2 or something :/

There are raise the flag missions at level 2 when a planet is about to be liberated. Today I played it for the first time in the bug planet...

...it's very boring, honestly, I could see it as a side objective in higher difficulties if the process spawns insane hordes, but as it is now it's just a shallow tutorial for new players.

Yeah I think it would be interesting to incorporate some lower level missions as sub objectives into the higher levels. It just gives you that feeling of being a badass. Like on difficulty 5 or something, bile titan kills are an entire mission type. I think it could be cool at difficulty nine to have like a set of 5 of them clumped up and have that be a subOBJ, or again the raising the flag could be fun.

I hate the one that you're tasked with evacuating the scientists, that's pure hell with bot drops coming in every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10 seconds or something, unplayable if you're not coordinated with teammates.

I enjoy the one with gate closing, and defending our ground while waiting for missiles to launch. That one's pretty chill.
