Did Helldivers 2's community manager K. Baskin have an overall positive or negative impact on Helldivers 2?
What's your opinion?

Please, also consider community management during the initial critical release period with player numbers being much higher than expected and potentially insufficient server capacities.

Hate to break it to you but I fired employees who trash talk customers as I view it unprofessional and shows poor judgement on the part of the company to keep bad employees on. So yes, I cared about that even before I knew about it. Because I value business ethics and work ethics.

Trashing an individual that provided the posts on X doesn't change my opinion. The only thing it does is damage your character as you grasp for straws to deflect and defend a bad employee because they are most likely part of your ideology/subculture. I am looking at the evidence provided and not the messenger. All I care about is if the posts were accurate and they were. Hence why I believe that Bask should be fired.

I would have zero knowledge that stupid people exist if it wasn't for other stupid people posting about it on forums or news media trying to make a dumb comment into a big story.

If a customer did what Kern did to your employee, and you sided with Kern instead of the victim of harassment, then you're not as good at this business thing as you imagine yourself to be. If I was the dev and everything went down identically, I would have fired Bask on the spot. I would also do an internal review of all the employees that handle community relations, mods and other community managers, to make sure that Bask didn't sour the milk. As in, if other mods and/or CMs are trashing customers because Bask acted like it was okay. Then those employees would be fired as well. It is unacceptable.

Any law suits in court wouldn't hold up as I would have receipts of said actions.

not gonna sugar coat it, customers are entitled pricks 99% of the time. the adage "the customer is always right" is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

they have something you want, you pay them, what one of their employees say on social media doesn't matter to anyone who isn't trying to stir up ♥♥♥♥.
