Player Level Means Nothing
From what I've seen/read, people are just dumb. Guys, the LEVEL of someone doesn't matter. There can be a level 20 that plays better than you, even if you are level 60.
Same goes for rank in competitive games. Stop kicking people based on their level. Hell, when I played on Helldive, I had a level 80 in my team. That level 80 messed up more times than a random 35 that joined.

Why would you care what someone's level is when you don't even know how they play? The only thing a level represents is the approximate amount of hours you've sunk into the game. Why do people care about these things? "Oh, nice, a level 70 joined, this will be easy." - and it turns out he's playing worse than you and you're just a level 20.

In the end, the point of this post is - Don't kick people based on their level. Not everyone has the time to play a game for 6 hours straights on a daily basis on a difficulty 7+ to reach a high enough level to satisfy your needs.. The lower difficulties give f--k all in terms of XP, from I think level 35+. Hell, on level 60 it takes, I think, 3 Helldive(diff9) missions to level up by 1 level.

Yes, we should kick when they have proven to be useless and a waste of slot, not because of level, since these kicks are rated "E" for everyone.

You can just solo helldives like me and never have to deal with the low half of the IQ spectrum.

You should never give so much power to a single random person. In a game or moderators. You are just one bad day away to get punished.

There is a threshold to level where you will know this player won't suck and team kill you with collateral damage but that's a very high threshold. I have seen level 70s do pretty bad but they won't outright use the stratagems to kill you like level 20s would.

It's just a measure of general experience

Means something. I mean like, lvl 20 def can play way better than lvl 80, but usually low levels means undergear + under game experience. Like people have no clue how to fight charger or even pack of hunters. In most of the cases 50+ players know how to surive alone and do stuff and in most cases players < 30 may struggle even in a team of 3.

Still, I don't really care what level you guys have, but if you die like 10+ times to some trash stuff I prob kick you to save the run for the rest of the team.

What's the point of this post. There are many reasons someone kicks you beyond your level. You are simply assuming it is because your level. One thing is for sure tho if you are around level 20 you will lack the gear for Helldive difficulty unless you are playing as a teammate. The more solo crap you pull the more players will get impatient with you until they kick you.

Sure there are people that kick just because they can, but simple solution host your own damn game. Problem solved.

weirdly enough ive yet to get kicked mid mission. ever. and im almost level 50 myself.

I exclusively play helldive as well and often go off and do things solo.

Player levels do mean something, at least from 1-30 or 40ish. I don't support kicking but a level 10 on 7-8-9 diff? Come on man.
There can be a good lvl 20 and a stupid lvl 80
But there can't be a "perfect stratagem pack" in a lvl 5

Literally you have no clue what you're talking about.

Levels = time
time = experience
experience = success

(Side note: Levels in HD2 also mean access to Stratagems and likely owned Stratagems, so yes levels do mean something)

also for the "Same goes for rank in competitive games" you're also just flat out wrong. From that you're saying that a Global Elite (Highest comp rank in CS2:GO) can be worse than a Silver 1 (lowest rank), now while this is possible it's so unlikely that it's practically impossible. Please for the love of God shut up and just play the game.

A level 50 player should have more natural experience playing the game than a level 10. A level 50 will have access to more unlocks as well. It isn't always about your kill count, sometimes it is about staying on mission.

Low levels (under 20) shouldn't be joining t7+ missions.

Obviously.
I succeeded Helldive after one week of playing with level 19. And I saw level 50 players, before the cap increase, who were questionable at best with their skills.

Levels means wider access to stratagems.

If you're below 10 at difficulty levels of +8, you're nothing more than dead weight to some hosts, as in their eyes you do not have access to the "ideal loadout" needed for the task at hand, they will kick you out to make room for someone more valuable in their point of view.

And if you're above 50, you're expected to at least know how to conduct yourself properly during the mission.

We're all equal in the managed democracy, but some simply are more equal than the others, just find people to play with that don't care about levels, stratagems and weaponry, and only want to have fun as they spread managed democracy to the galaxy at wide.

Level 7 difficulty I tackled around level 10.

You know how it works? It is easy. Host or someone else in party blew themselves up at start - I got their weapon. When the support weapon cooldown is done for them, I got the their support weapon.

The essential Stratagems to blow up buildings and give good assist are available early as well.

Level tells almost nothing aside from whether one has likely access to this and that. But just because a player has no access yet, it does not mean they cannot use them. Again: essential good stuff like Eagle related are available very early on.
