It's like the Liberator Penetrator but with less trash killing potential and more for fighting larger targets. Whether you want to use a rifle that does this, is up to you.
Overall I think it performs fine, but I wouldn't say no to a few more rounds in the magazine.
Definitely bring an Autocannon or Anti-Material Rifle for those heavier opponents though.
The primary mode is semi auto, with the full auto mode being an oh-♥♥♥♥ trigger.
For an AR it's high damage and high recoil with a small magazine.
For a dmr it's high ammo capacity with good handlign, low recoil and full auto, but low damage.
I wouldn't say it sucks, but it is definitely not great due to it's joat status. I would say drop the mag size to 20 and give it a full 10 magazines. Make it a high sustain marksman rifle, that can moonlight as a heavy AR.
Penetrator is way better purely from the fact you can actually hit targets with it in full auto.
Only has a small portion of a mag though
The recoil doesn't just go away when you use it on semi. You have to let it reset and shoot below max fire rate. Which results in terrible damage output compared to other weapons, even other DMRs.
Yeah, if we're using a medium pen semi auto gun may as well run a dominator instead, maybe scorcher.
