The issue is that sometimes when I change a certain elevation, the crawl just gets canceled.
just like the throw any startagem or call evac and Now all of Space China knows you're here thing
No game, I do not want to get up from my crouch position I took behind a rock to be protected from enemy fire because I walked down a tini tiny elevation from a rock and 'fell' for maybe a frame.
The game should never ever randomly force you to change stances for any reason.
The one and only exception I can see is if you get ragdolled, but even then, maybe just always be in the stance that I picked and stop automatically switching it?
Almost 100 hours, never had this happen switching weapons. But for take of argument. I will stream testing this tonight and get back to this on the forums. If this is a thing, it needs to be fixed. However, again, as I said, I haven't seen this issue in almost 100 hours.
Pay more attention to the terrain. Skill issue.
Developer skill issue.
You can infiltrate a bots base on Helldive difficulty. As long as there are no Devastators and above, you can melee kill the inhabitants of the base one by one without triggering any alarm reaction.
Stealth is fine.
You can lob a grenade or strategem to max distance from behind cover, completely out LoS and land it behind hostile units who are completely unaware of you or the grenade and the moment it goes off, every hostile unit in earshot of the grenade will instantly pivot and start shooting at your precise location even if there's a mountain between you and them. Or their own fabricator. Or each other.
Stealth in terms of being able to sneak up on stuff does work.
Stealth in terms of being able to sneakily throw grenades and stategems is entirely impossible because arrowhead decided that the enemy either doesn't know you exist or knows your precise coordinates at all times.
It'd be one thing if they saw the beam of light and started looking for you, but they don't react to it at all until the stratagem calls in the barrage etc.
But there is no good reason for the enemy to perfectly locate you the instant they are alerted to your existence even if they never saw you directly.
That needs fixing.
