So im telling you, its alot easier because before 4 of us struggled to do a lv9 defence due to the amount of armour enemies that spawned.
The patch buffed weapon damage 3-4x and lowered most enemies armour by 1 stage. This is quite an extreme nerf to the difficulty but it will please the causal crowd...which honestly is the bulk of any games player base. More hard core players won't like this huge drop in difficulty.
However, as nice as it was to be one of the special few this has opened up the accessibility.
Also as I was always running with PUGS I always had to take the same build -Incend Breaker, RG orbital, Shield pack and the anti tank secondary that was the least nerfed.
Now I am having fun playing different builds and have the confidence to drop my IB and play a HMG build or ARC or RG or whatever. Yes the game is easier but I am still seeing people get shredded on 10 and having to finish the map alone and now I can play different builds.
Its freshened the game and on the whole I think theyve done a good job.

I really support the idea of them making every single weapon good so everybody can pick whatever they like to bring into battle and not being forced to follow a meta.
The base game play feels great now, the solution was never to nerf everything down for balance, but to buff everything up, so you feel like you can attack enemies, but more + bigger enemies challenge you.
But I see really different builds right now. Which is great. No more 3 identical loadouts.
And, oh boy, 500kg now is 500kg bomb.
