You can always make it work ofc, but it would feel way more rewarding if they either came in a package of something bad + something good so you could try to capitalize on the boost while dealing withthe begative, or if there were some type of objective you could to to disable the modifier. Kinda like with jamming towers and SEAF artillery.
This means if you cooked it too long and then got knocked over for any reason you are instantly shot by your own strat, meaning you gotta still be careful with its use.
I damn bloody hated it my man...
I understand that and I'm not saying your wrong but like I said the modifier is like if they did what some other games did and simply increased the HP of all enemies by like 20% per difficulty. Itd not more difficult it's only difficult cause it take much longer to do the same thing and it is more annoying than it is difficult. I am still very much having fun doing 7 and 8 difficulties even with the modifier I just grit my teeth and deal with it, but just because you have to deal with it doesn't mean it is a good reason to just deal with it.
Their are rumors that they may add all 15 difficulties into the game from the first game and there were leaks of like 5 more samples tier above super. So having this modifier so early in the potential difficulties is simply an annoying thing that immersively doesn't make sense. I forget the name but if it's a weather condition that shouldn't affect how fast it's coming down but rather the accuracy.
All I'm saying is that it is a bad difficulty modifier like simply increasing HP of enemies and should be removed and have difficulties modifiers that fit the game better.
